Overnight Camp – $749

Extended Day Camp – $599 (9am-8:30pm)

Open to kids from the ages of 5-18 (**Portions of the camp will be co-ed**)

Poteat Field, located on the beautiful Wake Forest University campus, is a frequently used for Club Sports, Intramurals, and recreation. We’re excited to host the Revolution Soccer Camps at Wake Forest University. Join us and improve your soccer skills this summer!

Camp is open to all ages and ability levels. Each camper will be assessed and grouped with campers of similar age and ability levels. Adjustments to the groups may be made throughout the week to provide campers with opportunities to train with and compete against different players. Drills, games, and scrimmages are designed to help each camper learn, improve, and have fun!

Coach Yusef Conteh is the Boys and Girls Soccer Coach at Central Cabarrus High School in Concord, NC where he has led both programs to the postseason while setting school records for most wins.

During the offseason, Coach Conteh trains individual college and professional players from the National Women’s Soccer League and the United Soccer League.  Coach Conteh currently holds his USSF D License as well as his Grassroots 11v11 Course Certification.  

Coach Conteh has experience developing players of all ages.  His coaching career started at Beach FC Academy working with U8-U16 teams.  From there, he was recruited to the Charlotte Soccer Academy to serve as an Academy Coach.  Coach Conteh has been involved with the Youth Academy all the way to the U18 Classic and Premiere levels.  Over the years, his teams have won several tournaments and league championships.  He has also helped develop several players into National Level competitors. 

A native of Sierra Leone, Conteh started playing soccer at the age of five.  His father played professional soccer in Africa and England.  Conteh moved to North Carolina at the age of 15 and played soccer at Myers Park High School.  During his Junior and Senior seasons, he led his team to the State Playoffs and was recognized with All-State Select Player honors.  Conteh earned the opportunity to try out for the Third Division Team in England.  Although his career was ultimately cut short due to injury, Conteh stayed active by participating in several Semi-Pro Adult Soccer Leagues in North Carolina, Virginia Beach and Maryland.

Coach Conteh is excited to share his experience and love for the game at the Revolution Soccer Camps.

Each camper will;

  • receive a Revolution Soccer Camp Reversible
  • develop their technical skills and tactical knowledge
  • participate in camp games with a chance to win prizes
  • compete amongst their peers in small sided games and camp scrimmages
  • be given the opportunity to work with college coaches and players all week long!
  • most importantly, HAVE FUN

9:30am – 11:30am Tactical Skills & Position Training
11:30am – Cool Down & Extra Help
12:00pm – Lunch
1:00pm – 2:00pm Spike Ball, Frisbee & Recess Games
2:30pm-4:30pm – Small Sided Game// Strategy & Game Concept Training
4:30pm-5:00pm – Extra Help & Talent Show Practice/ Scavenger Hunt / Dorm Games
5:00pm – Dinner
6:00- Mandatory Rest
6:45pm-8:30pm – Soccer Scrimmages/ Team Based Drills
8:30pm – Optional Play the Coaches + Showers
8:30pm – Commuter Dismissal
9:30pm – Dorm Games and Socializing/ Evening Meetings
10:30pm Lights Out

Below is a suggested list of items to bring to camp. We suggest that campers do not bring expensive personal items such as cameras, iPods/iPads, etc. Cell phones are allowed in the dorms and dining areas, but not on the field during training sessions. Please label every article you bring to camp. All items will be the responsibility of the camper. Revolution Soccer and its camp staff are not responsible for lost, stolen or forgotten items.

Overnight Campers: Check in at 12PM-1PM Sunday. Campers should be picked up at 4PM Wednesday.

Extended Day Campers: Check in at 12PM-1PM Sunday (9AM every other day). Campers should be picked up at 8:30PM Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday and at 4PM Wednesday. (Lunch and dinner are included)

Make sure campers bring all necessary soccer equipment (shin guards, cleats, shoes, ball, etc.), a refillable water bottle, and sunscreen.
