Camp Director
Coach Mark Rickard is the Head Boys Soccer Coach at Saint George’s School, the 2019 2B State Champions. This past season, the Dragons finished in 3rd in State. Coach Rickard was previously the inaugural Head Girls Soccer Coach for Saint George’s School, where he was named District Coach of the Year twice and selected as the Washington State Soccer Coaches Association 2B Coach of the Year in 2016. Just two years earlier, Coach Rickard was recognized as Washington State Girls Basketball Coaches Association 2B Coach of the Year.
Within the first four years of starting the Girls Soccer program at Saint George, Coach Rickard led his team to three consecutive District Championships and the first State Championship in program history. In his first stint as Assistant Boys Soccer Coach at Saint George, the Dragons advanced to the State Championships each year and brought home hardware on each trip, including State runner-up in 2012.
As a teacher and coach, Rickard’s ultimate goal is to instill a love for sport, performance, training, and competition. Outside of soccer, Rickard is an avid triathlete, having completed three full Ironman distance triathlons and is looking forward to his next endurance sport challenge.
