Revolution Soccer Camp is open to kids & teens ages 5 to 18. Campers will be grouped based on age and ability levels. Portions of the camp will be co-ed.

OVERVIEW

Student Legacy Park, located on the beautiful Oregon State University campus, features three lit turf fields along with a 1/3 mile track, a basketball court, a pavillion, and a ten-court tennis complex. We’re excited to host the Revolution Soccer Camps at Oregon State University. Join us and improve your soccer skills this summer!

Camp is open to all ages and ability levels. Each camper will be assessed and grouped with campers of similar age and ability levels. Adjustments to the groups may be made throughout the week to provide campers with opportunities to train with and compete against different players. Drills, games, and matches are designed to help each camper learn, improve, and have fun!

Derek Stephenson
Derek StephensonHead Girls Soccer Coach at Seaside High School

Coach Derek Stephenson is the Head Girls Soccer Coach at Seaside High School.

Coach Stephenson has coached many teams over an extensive period, achieving numerous first-place finishes in various tournaments. Coach Stephenson was also named the Co-Coach of the Year for the Cowapa 4A Division in Oregon High School Soccer. Additionally, Coach Stephenson led the high school team to the State Championship Tournament during his inaugural season as Head Coach, snapping a long tournament drought for the school.

Stephenson has been playing soccer since early childhood. His playing background includes extensive experience in both competitive and non-competitive leagues, allowing him to develop a deep understanding of the game from a player’s perspective.

Coach Stephenson is excited to bring his extensive coaching experience and passion for player development to the Revolution Soccer Camps.

Paul Slover
Paul SloverHead Boys Soccer Coach at Lake Oswego High School

Coach Paul Slover is the Head Boys Soccer Coach at Lake Oswego High School.

Coach Slover possesses a distinguished coaching background, having spent numerous seasons as the Head Boys Soccer Coach at Lakeridge High School and as the Head Girls Soccer Coach at Tigard High School. Coach Slover has guided his teams to seven league titles and an Oregon State Championship. For these achievements, Coach Slover was honored with four league Coach of the Year awards and a State Coach of the Year accolade.

Slover built an impressive playing career beginning at Plano High School in Texas, where he was selected as an All-District player. Slover transitioned to the collegiate level at the University of North Texas State, where he was named to the Soccer America “Freshman to Watch” class and started every single match from his freshman through senior seasons. During his collegiate career, Slover anchored a squad that achieved a top-ten national ranking.

Coach Slover is excited to bring his championship experience and love of the game to the Revolution Soccer Camps.

What to Expect

At Revolution Soccer Camps you’ll receive individualized soccer training through a superior curriculum regardless your age or ability level. We want young soccer players to improve in every aspect of their game; our camps put a focus on individual skill development while incorporating drills and matches to emphasize teamwork.

CHECK IN & CHECK OUT

Overnight: Check in will be from 12pm-1PM on Sunday at Dorm TBA. Dorm is not air-conditioned so please bring a fan. Check out at the field on the last day at 4pm

Extended Day: Check in will be from 12:30pm-1PM on Sunday at Dorm TBA. Campers should be dropped off at 9am the rest of the week and picked up at 8:30pm each day (besides the last day 4pm) at the soccer field.

Make sure campers bring all necessary soccer equipment (shin guards, cleats, shoes, ball, etc.), a refillable water bottle, and sunscreen.

What to Bring to Camp

Below is a suggested list of items to bring to camp. We suggest that campers do not bring expensive personal items such as cameras, iPods/iPads, etc. Cell phones are allowed in the dorms and dining areas, but not on the field during training sessions. Please label every article you bring to camp. All items will be the responsibility of the camper. Revolution Soccer and its camp staff are not responsible for lost, stolen or forgotten items.
