Camp Director

Eric Simbana
Eric SimbanaLead Coach for the Charlotte Eagles

Coach Eric Simbana serves as a lead coach for the Charlotte Eagles, where he is responsible for the development of the 2007/2008, 2009, and 2010 squads. In addition to his work with the Eagles, he has a significant background in club soccer through his time with FCC Carolinas. Simbana’s coaching philosophy centers on technical precision and player confidence, ensuring that every athlete he mentors is prepared to compete at a high level while maintaining a genuine love for the process of improvement.

Simbana’s connection to the Charlotte Eagles is rooted in his time at Wingate University, where he served as a Youth Development intern. This experience allowed him to lead foundational programs and learn how to design training sessions that are both educational and highly engaging. By drawing on professional-level youth development standards, Simbana helps his campers build a strong soccer IQ and understand the tactical side of the game.

Soccer has been a central part of Simbana’s life since his time as a standout player for Liberty High School and the BSA club program in Virginia. He continued his playing career at the collegiate level with Wingate University in North Carolina. Having successfully balanced the demands of being a student-athlete, Simbana understands the commitment required to excel and enjoys helping younger players navigate their own paths toward advanced competition.

Coach Simbana is excited to share his knowledge and passion for the sport at the Revolution Soccer Camps.
