Revolution Soccer Camp is open to kids & teens ages 5 to 18. Campers will be grouped based on age and ability levels. Portions of the camp will be co-ed.

OVERVIEW

Revolution Soccer Camps is excited to be at Settlers Park in Meridian, ID this summer for a boys soccer camp. This camp is open to boys ages 5-18. Campers will learn individual technical skills, positional play, team concepts, and will scrimmage daily.

We also hold many fun contests during the week for great prizes. Join us for an unforgettable week of soccer and fun!

Melanie Hopkins
Melanie HopkinsAssistant Coach with Albion SC’s Women’s Semi-Professional Team

Coach Melanie Hopkins is an Assistant Coach with Albion SC’s Women’s Semi-Professional Team and a Girls Varsity Assistant at Owhyee High School.  Coach Hopkins is also a private soccer trainer in the Treasure Valley.

Coach Hopkins’ previous coaching experience include stints at Idaho Rush, Eagle High School, and Indie Chicas FC.

Coming out of high school, Hopkins was highly recruited and received athletic and academic scholarships to attend Southern Oregon University.  Hopkins went on to become a 4-year starter and was named team captain her Junior and Senior campaigns.  She still holds the school record for Most Career Saves.

Growing up in Salt Lake City, Hopkins started playing soccer very early with Firebirds FC, competing in various tournaments around the country.  In high school, Hopkins was selected to the Northwest All-Star team, and competed internationally in Sweden, Denmark, and Norway.

Hopkins continues to play competitively through Southern Idaho Soccer League and Boise Indoor Soccer and is excited to share her love for the sport at the Revolution Soccer Camps.

What to Expect

At Revolution Soccer Camps you’ll receive individualized soccer training through a superior curriculum regardless your age or ability level. We want young soccer players to improve in every aspect of their game; our camps put a focus on individual skill development while incorporating drills and matches to emphasize teamwork.

Features of our soccer staff include: Low camper-to-coach ratios; Groups based off of age & ability level; Fun, energetic, & experienced staff.

CHECK IN & CHECK OUT

Full Day Campers: Check in at 8:45AM Monday (9AM every other day). Campers should be picked up at 4PM each day. (Bring a bagged lunch)

Half Day Campers (*option for 5-8 year olds): Check in at 8:45AM Monday (9AM every other day). Campers should be picked up at 12PM each day.

Make sure campers bring all necessary soccer equipment (shin guards, cleats, shoes, ball, etc.), a refillable water bottle, sunscreen, lunch and snack.

*Lunch is not included.

What to Bring to Camp

Below is a suggested list of items to bring to camp. We suggest that campers do not bring expensive personal items such as cameras, iPods/iPads, etc. Cell phones are allowed in the dorms and dining areas, but not on the field during training sessions. Please label every article you bring to camp. All items will be the responsibility of the camper. Revolution Soccer and its camp staff are not responsible for lost, stolen or forgotten items.
