Camp Dates

July 1st-3rd, 2024 (Monday-Wednesday)

Day Camp – $299 (9am-4pm)

Open to boys from the ages of 5-18 (**Portions of the camp will be co-ed**)

Founded in 1890, West High School is the oldest public high school in the state of Utah. We’re excited to host the Revolution Soccer Camps at West High School. Join us and improve your soccer skills this summer!

Camp is open to all ages and ability levels. Each camper will be assessed and grouped with campers of similar age and ability levels. Adjustments to the groups may be made throughout the week to provide campers with opportunities to train with and compete against different players. Drills, games, and scrimmages are designed to help each camper learn, improve, and have fun!

Coach Hugo Freitas dos Santos is a private soccer trainer with extensive international playing experience.  

Freitas developed as a soccer player in Brazil with Semepp/Gremio Prudente before advancing through the ranks of Chapecoense, where he played for both the U15 and U17 teams.  He also played for Mirassol U17.

In Europe, Freitas competed for Brera Calcio U20, Virtus Cermenate, and Aurora Montano Lucino in Italy.  His journey continued in Portugal where he played for Belenenses and Alcochetense, before moving to Grap Leira and UD Leira.

Freitas’ playing experience in the United States includes Casper College in Wyoming and Kuyper College in Michigan.  Coach Freitas has coached at Game Changer Academy, HV UTD, Gremio Prudente/Semepp, and West Jordan High School.  

Coach Freitas is excited to share his energy, experience, and love of the game at the Revolution Soccer Camps.

Each camper will;

  • receive a Revolution Soccer Camp Reversible
  • develop their technical skills and tactical knowledge
  • participate in camp games with a chance to win prizes
  • compete amongst their peers in small sided games and camp scrimmages
  • be given the opportunity to work with college coaches and players all week long!
  • most importantly, HAVE FUN

Daily Schedule
8:45 – Commuters Arrive
9:00 – Daily Theme Workshop
9:30 – 10:30 Technical Skills & Position Training
10:30am – 12:00pm – Small sided games
12:00pm- Lunch (Half day campers depart)
1:00pm-2:00pm – Tactical Skills Training & Field Awareness
2:00pm-4:00pm – Full Field Games & Man up/Man Down
4:00pm – Campers Depart from Field

Below is a suggested list of items to bring to camp. We suggest that campers do not bring expensive personal items such as cell phones or IPods. Campers are allowed to bring cell phones to camp to contact their guardians but they should not be on the field during training sessions. Please label every article you bring to camp. All items will be the responsibility of the camper. Revolution Soccer and its camp staff are not responsible for lost, stolen or forgotten items.

  • Soccer Shoes (Indoor & Outdoor), Shin Guards, Soccer Socks, goalie gloves (If needed)
  • On-Field Clothes (Athletic Socks, T-Shirts, Shorts, Sweatshirts, etc)

Week 1
Full Day Campers
: Check in at 8:45AM Monday (9AM every other day). Campers should be picked up at 4PM each day. (Bring a bagged lunch)

Half Day Campers: (*option for 5-8 year old’s): Check in at 8:45AM Monday (9AM every other day). Campers should be picked up at 12PM each day.

Make sure campers bring all necessary soccer equipment (shin guards, cleats, shoes, ball, etc.), a refillable water bottle, sunscreen, lunch and snack.

Overview

At Revolution Soccer Camps, you’ll receive individualized soccer training through a superior curriculum regardless your age or ability level. We want young soccer players to improve in every aspect of their game; our camps put a focus on individual skill development while incorporating drills and scrimmages which emphasize teamwork.
