Camp Dates

July 18th – 21st, 2022 | July 26th – 29th, 2022

Day Camp – $399 (9am-4pm)

Half Day Camp – $269 (9am-12pm)

Open to boys from the ages of 5-18 (**Portions of the camp will be co-ed**)

The University Federal Credit Union Playfield is centrally located in the middle of the beautiful University of Utah campus. Opened in 2016, this field is uniquely located on top of the Central Parking Garage. This artificial turf field is used for intramural and club sports, as well as special events. We’re excited to host the Revolution Soccer Camps at University of Utah. Join us and improve your soccer skills this summer! Camp is open to all ages and ability levels. Each camper will be assessed and grouped with campers of similar age and ability levels. Adjustments to the groups may be made throughout the week to provide campers with opportunities to train with and compete against different players. Drills, games, and scrimmages are designed to help each camper learn, improve, and have fun!

Isaac Acolatse
Isaac AcolatseHead Coach - Utah FC Spider

Coach Isaac Acolatse is the Founder and Head Coach of Utah FC Spider.  Utah FC Spider competes in the United Premier Soccer League, the largest pro development league in North America.  

Coach Acolatse is also a certified sports agent and private soccer coach and trainer.  He has an eye for identifying talent and assessing player strengths and weaknesses.  More importantly, Coach Acolatse can utilize his soccer expertise to devise a training plan tailored to each players’ individual needs to help them improve their skills and reach their potential. 

Born in Ghana, West Africa, Acolatse brings a unique perspective to the game.  As a player, Acolatse competed in Africa and is a 3-time high school champion and 4-time college champion.  He also coached soccer for four years in Ghana.  Coach Acolatse currently holds several coaching certifications including USSF, USYS, NFHS, NSCAA, AIC, and USCS.

Coach Acolatse is excited to share his passion for the sport at the Revolution Soccer Camps.

Each camper will;

  • receive a Revolution Soccer Camp Reversible
  • develop their technical skills and tactical knowledge
  • participate in camp games with a chance to win prizes
  • compete amongst their peers in small sided games and camp scrimmages
  • be given the opportunity to work with college coaches and players all week long!
  • most importantly, HAVE FUN

Daily Schedule
8:45 – Commuters Arrive
9:00 – Daily Theme Workshop
9:30 – 10:30 Technical Skills & Position Training
10:30am – 12:00pm – Small sided games
12:00pm- Lunch (Half day campers depart)
1:00pm-2:00pm – Tactical Skills Training & Field Awareness
2:00pm-4:00pm – Full Field Games & Man up/Man Down
4:00pm – Campers Depart from Field

Below is a suggested list of items to bring to camp. We suggest that campers do not bring expensive personal items such as cell phones or IPods. Campers are allowed to bring cell phones to camp to contact their guardians but they should not be on the field during training sessions. Please label every article you bring to camp. All items will be the responsibility of the camper. Revolution Soccer and its camp staff are not responsible for lost, stolen or forgotten items.

  • Health Form
  • Soccer Shoes (Indoor & Outdoor), Shin Guards, Soccer Socks, goalie gloves (If needed)
  • On-Field Clothes (Athletic Socks, T-Shirts, Shorts, Sweatshirts, etc)
  • Athletic Sneakers
  • Sunscreen
  • Water Bottle
  • Lunch

Week 1
Full Day Campers: Check in at 8:45AM Monday (9AM every other day). Campers should be picked up at 4PM each day. (Bring a bagged lunch)

Half Day Campers: (*option for 5-8 year old’s): Check in at 8:45AM Monday (9AM every other day). Campers should be picked up at 12PM each day.

Week 2

Full Day Campers: Check in at 8:45AM Tuesday (9AM every other day). Campers should be picked up at 4PM each day. (Bring a bagged lunch) Half Day Campers: (*option for 5-8 year olds): Check in at 8:45AM Tuesday (9AM every other day). Campers should be picked up at 12PM each day.

Make sure campers bring all necessary soccer equipment (shin guards, cleats, shoes, ball, etc.), a refillable water bottle, sunscreen, lunch and snack.

*Lunch is not included. *

Overview

At Revolution Soccer Camps, you’ll receive individualized soccer training through a superior curriculum regardless your age or ability level. We want young soccer players to improve in every aspect of their game; our camps put a focus on individual skill development while incorporating drills and scrimmages which emphasize teamwork.
