Camp Dates

July 19th – 22nd, 2021

Day Camp – $399 (9am-3pm)

Half Day Camp – $249 (9am-12pm)

Open to girls from the ages of 6-16 (**Portions of the camp will be co-ed**)

Revolution Soccer Camps is excited to announce a week of soccer camp at Stuart Sports Complex in Aurora, IL! Camp this summer will run from July 19th -22nd and will be a great pre-season tune up for your upcoming season! This camp is open to girls ages 6-16. Campers will learn individual technical skills, positional play, team concepts, and will scrimmage daily. We also hold many fun contests during the week for great prizes. Join us for an unforgettable week of soccer and fun!

Sal Acevedo
Sal AcevedoFormer Assistant Coach, Concordia University Chicago

Sal Acevedo is a passionate coach who has served the Chicagoland area for over 10 years. Most Recently, Coach Acevedo attended Concordia University Chicago where he pursued an MBA in Leadership and Change Management. Coach Acevedo served as the Assistant Coach for the Men’s Soccer team. Prior to CUC, Coach Acevedo was at Elgin Community College from 2017-2019. At Elgin, he managed both the Men’s soccer team as head coach from 2017-2019 and the Women’s soccer team, assistant coach in 2018 and head coach in 2019. During his tenure, he focused on restructuring the programs to adopt a feeder system model. In a span of one year, Men’s soccer became a Region IV Finalist (2018) while the Women’s program demonstrated a strong season and attended the Region IV semi-final. Coaching experience includes Campton United Soccer Club from 2011-2019, Elite Soccer Club from 2016-2017, and Midstate Soccer Club from 2015-2016. Coach Acevedo’s experience also includes the position of Operations Manager for Premier Sports Programs from 2012-2013. Academically, Sal attended Millikin University where he lettered in two years of soccer and obtained a BS in Business Management. Coach Acevedo also lettered two years of soccer at Elgin Community College where he obtained an Associates of Arts. Coach Acevedo’s philosophy is simple…work hard and have fun. The mentality is a focal point in his athletes and Coach Acevedo wants every player to win the confidence battle while enjoying what they do! He currently works for Chicago Rush Soccer Club in Fox Valley. Coach Acevedo holds a USSF National D Licence.

Each camper will;

  • receive a Revolution Soccer Camp Reversible
  • develop their technical skills and tactical knowledge
  • participate in camp games with a chance to win prizes
  • compete amongst their peers in small sided games and camp scrimmages
  • be given the opportunity to work with college coaches and players all week long!
  • most importantly, HAVE FUN

Daily Schedule
8:45 – Commuters Arrive
9:00 – Daily Theme Workshop
9:30 – 10:30 Technical Skills & Position Training
10:30am – 12:00pm – Small sided games
12:00pm- Lunch (Half day campers depart)
1:00pm-2:00pm – Tactical Skills Training & Field Awareness
2:00pm-3:00pm – Full Field Games & Man up/Man Down
3:00pm – Campers Depart from Field

Below is a suggested list of items to bring to camp. We suggest that campers do not bring expensive personal items such as cell phones or IPods. Campers are allowed to bring cell phones to camp to contact their guardians but they should not be on the field during training sessions. Please label every article you bring to camp. All items will be the responsibility of the camper. Revolution Soccer and its camp staff are not responsible for lost, stolen or forgotten items.

Check In: Campers will check in at the field between 8:30 – 8:45

Check out: Half Day campers will be picked up at 12pm and full day campers will be picked up at 3pm. All camp dismissals will take place at the field.
