Session 1: July 24-27, 2023

Day Camp- $369 (9am-4pm)

Half Day Camp- $269 (9am-12pm)

Open to girls from the ages of 5-18 (**Portions of the camp will be co-ed**)

Revolution Soccer Camps is excited to be at Geer Community Park in Salem, OR this summer for a girls soccer camp. This camp is open to girls ages 5-18. Campers will learn individual technical skills, positional play, team concepts, and will scrimmage daily. We also hold many fun contests during the week for great prizes. Join us for an unforgettable week of soccer and fun!

Geer Community Park is a beautiful 44-acre park featuring two soccer/lacrosse fields, two baseball/softball fields, both developed and natural walking paths, Salem’s only bike park, and more. We’re excited to host the Revolution Soccer Camps at Geer Community Park. Join us and have fun while improving your soccer skills!

Juan LlamasBoys Varsity Soccer Coach at McKay High School

Coach Juan Llamas is the Boys Varsity Soccer Coach at McKay High School and the Director of Coaching for the Recreational Program at Mid Valley Soccer Club.  

In 2022, Coach Llamas led McKay to the 5A Mid-Willamette Conference Championship and their first OSAA State Championship in school history.  The Royal Scots finished the year with a perfect 17-0 record, scoring 55 goals and giving up a state-low 4 goals all season.  Coach Llamas was recognized as the 5A Mid-Willamette Conference Coach of the Year and the OSAA 5A State Coach of the Year.  Coach Llamas has led McKay to the State tournament in each of his five seasons.  Coach Llamas has also been recognized as the 6A Mountain Valley Conference Coach of the Year.  

 

Prior to McKay, Coach Llamas was the head coach for the Western Oregon University’s Soccer Club and an Assistant Coach at Columbia Basin College.  While at Columbia Basin, the Hawks reached the NWAACC Final Four for only the second time in school history.

 

In high school, Llamas was captain of his team that reached the State Final for the first time in school history.  Llamas continued his playing career at Columbia Basin College and then Western Oregon University.  Coach Llamas is excited to share his experience and love for the game at the Revolution Soccer Camps.

Each camper will;

  • receive a Revolution Soccer Camp Reversible
  • develop their technical skills and tactical knowledge
  • participate in camp games with a chance to win prizes
  • compete amongst their peers in small sided games and camp scrimmages
  • be given the opportunity to work with college coaches and players all week long!
  • most importantly, HAVE FUN

Daily Schedule
8:45– Commuters Arrive
9:00– Daily Theme Workshop
9:30–10:30- Technical Skills & Position Training
10:30am–12:00pm– Small sided games
12:00pm- Lunch (Half day campers depart)
1:00pm-2:00pm– Tactical Skills Training & Field Awareness
2:00pm-4:00pm– Full Field Games & Man up/Man Down
4:00pm– Campers Depart from Field

Below is a suggested list of items to bring to camp. We suggest that campers do not bring expensive personal items such as cell phones or IPods. Campers are allowed to bring cell phones to camp to contact their guardians but they should not be on the field during training sessions. Please label every article you bring to camp. All items will be the responsibility of the camper. Revolution Soccer and its camp staff are not responsible for lost, stolen or forgotten items.

  • On-Field Clothes (Athletic Socks, T-Shirts, Shorts, Sweatshirts, etc)

Full Day Campers: Check in at 8:45AM Monday (9AM every other day). Campers should be picked up at 4PM each day. (Bring a bagged lunch)

Half Day Campers (*option for 5-8 year olds): Check in at 8:45AM Monday (9AM every other day). Campers should be picked up at 12PM each day.

Make sure campers bring all necessary soccer equipment (shin guards, cleats, shoes, ball, etc.), a refillable water bottle, sunscreen, lunch and snack.

*Lunch is not included.
