Camp Dates

Week 1: June 14th – 17th, 2021

Week 2: July 12 – 15th, 2021

Day Camp – $429 (9am-4pm)

Half Day Camp – $229 (9am-12pm)

Open to girls from the ages of 6-16

Revolution Soccer Camps is excited to announce that we are going to hold a girls soccer camp at Metropolitan State University of Denver in Denver, CO this summer. Campers will be led by MSU Denver Women’s Head Coach, Bonnie Young and her staff. The staff has years of playing and coaching experience that they are excited to pass along to all players at camp. This youth soccer camp provides a tremendous opportunity to take your game to the next level while training on the beautiful turf fields that MSU Denver has to offer.

Bonnie Young joined the MSU Denver women’s soccer coaching staff in January, 2021. She was named interim head coach in February, 2021.

Young had been the director of the FC Boulder girls academy since January, 2018 and has previous experience playing professional soccer.

Young has more than 17 years of experience in coaching and club leadership across all levels, from recreational soccer through women’s professional soccer with the Chicago Red Stars and the Washington Spirit.

Young was a four-year player for Penn State, earning all-conference accolades twice, team defensive MVP twice and All Mid-Atlantic Region on first team on two occasions. While at Penn State, Young was named SoccerBuzz All-American honorable mention in 2001 and was a Freshman All-American third-team choice in 1998. She currently ranks second all-time in the NCAA women’s soccer record book with 104 career games played, and registered the first hat trick in Penn State women’s soccer history.

Her playing career with the Nittany Lions led her to the WUSA, where she was drafted 14th overall in 2002 by the New York Power. Young has also played for the New Jersey Wildcats, winning the W-League Championship in 2005.

Prior to FC Boulder, Young spent eight years as Girls’ Competitive Director of Coaching at the Naperville (Ill.) Soccer Association before serving as Technical Director of Montgomery (Md.) Soccer.

Originally from Houston, Young earned a bachelor of science degree in kinesiology from Penn State, where she played collegiately, and her master’s degree in human movement and corrective exercises from the Arizona School of Health Sciences.

Young has earned her premier diploma and director of coaching diploma from the NSCAA, and has her USSF “B” License in addition to being a certified strength and conditioning specialist.

Her professional playing career included time with the WUSA’s New York Power and the NWSL’s Chicago Red Stars, along with W-League stints with the New Jersey Wildcats and Sky Blue Soccer.

Each camper will;

  • receive a Revolution Soccer Camp Reversible
  • develop their technical skills and tactical knowledge
  • participate in camp games with a chance to win prizes
  • compete amongst their peers in small sided games and camp scrimmages
  • be given the opportunity to work with college coaches and players all week long!
  • most importantly, HAVE FUN

Daily Schedule:
8:45am – Campers Arrive
9:00am – Daily Theme Workshop
9:30am – 10:30am Technical Skills & Position Training
10:30am – 12:00pm – Small sided games
12:00pm- Lunch (Half day campers depart)
1:00pm-2:00pm – Tactical Skills Training & Field Awareness
2:00pm-2:30pm – Leadership & Team Building Activities
2:30pm-3:00pm – Skills Stations
3:00pm- 4:00pm- Full Field Games & Man up/Man Down
4:00pm – Campers Depart from Field

Below is a suggested list of items to bring to camp. We suggest that campers do not bring expensive personal items such as cell phones or IPods. Campers are allowed to bring cell phones to camp to contact their guardians but they should not be on the field during training sessions. Please label every article you bring to camp. All items will be the responsibility of the camper. Revolution Soccer and its camp staff are not responsible for lost, stolen or forgotten items.

  • On-Field Clothes (Athletic Socks, T-Shirts, Shorts, Sweatshirts, etc)

Check In: Campers will check in at the field between 8:30 – 8:45

Check out: Half Day campers will be picked up at 12pm and full day campers will be picked up at 4pm. All camp dismissals will take place at the field.


At Revolution Soccer Camps, you’ll receive individualized soccer training through a superior curriculum regardless your age or ability level. We want young soccer players to improve in every aspect of their game; our camps put a focus on individual skill development while incorporating drills and scrimmages which emphasize teamwork.
