Revolution Soccer Camps is excited to announce a boys soccer camp at Haverford College in Haverford, PA this summer. Downtown Philadelphia is just 8 miles from the stunningly beautiful campus. At camp, campers will have the opportunity to train with our elite level coaches while getting the chance to play on the school’s athletic fields and stay in the dorms on campus. Each camper will receive individual instruction and will compete in a fun and energetic environment. Don’t miss out on your chance to take your game to the next level this summer!

Jake Dowiak
Jake DowiakAssistant Soccer Coach at Saint Joseph's University

Currently in his second season as an assistant coach with the Saint Joseph’s women’s soccer program is Jake Dowiak.

In his first year on Hawk Hill, Dowiak helped the Hawks to a seventh place finish in the Atlantic 10, and a run to the semifinals of the A-10 Championship.

Dowiak came to Saint Joseph’s after serving as an assistant coach with Rutgers-Camden’s men’s soccer team this past year. In his season with the Scarlet Raptors, Dowiak helped the program advance to the semifinals of the ECAC Championship, while four student-athletes garnered NJAC postseason honors.

Along with experience at the collegiate level, Dowiak has coached at the developmental level and high school ranks. Most recently, he served as regional coach and camp coordinator for Steel United Soccer Club, where he created sessions that focus on improving technical and tactical ability, and designed conditioning programs.

Dowiak, who earned a bachelor’s degree in English from Rutgers-Camden, also has served as an assistant coach with the Ocean City Nor’easters, and spent four years as the assistant director of coaching for the Cherry Hill Football Club.

Dowiak also led the boys’ soccer program as head coach of Bishop Eustace Preparatory for six years, leading the Crusaders to a pair of conference championships.

Each camper will;

  • receive a Revolution Soccer Camp Reversible
  • develop their technical skills and tactical knowledge
  • participate in camp games with a chance to win prizes
  • compete amongst their peers in small sided games and camp scrimmages
  • experience the overnight accommodations and take part in evening dorm activities
  • be given the opportunity to work with college coaches and players all week long!

9:00am – Daily Theme Workshop
9:30am – 11:30am Tactical Skills & Position Training
11:30am – Cool Down & Extra Help
12:00pm – Lunch
1:00pm – 2:00pm Spike Ball, Frisbee & Recess Games
2:30pm-4:30pm – Small Sided Game// Strategy & Game Concept Training
4:30pm-5:00pm – Extra Help & Talent Show Practice/ Scavenger Hunt / Dorm Games
5:00pm – Dinner
6:00- Mandatory Rest
6:45pm-8:30pm – Soccer Scrimmages/ Team Based Drills
8:30pm – Optional Play the Coaches + Showers
8:30pm – Commuter Dismissal
9:30pm – Dorm Games and Socializing/ Evening Meetings
10:30pm Lights Out

Below is a suggested list of items to bring to camp. We suggest that campers do not bring expensive personal items such as cameras, iPods/iPads, etc. Cell phones are allowed in the dorms and dining areas, but not on the field during training sessions. Please label every article you bring to camp. All items will be the responsibility of the camper. Revolution Soccer and its camp staff are not responsible for lost, stolen or forgotten items.

Check In: 12pm – 1pm for both commuters and overnight campers. Tip for Extended Day Campers is to come at 12:30pm. First meal is Dinner. Check-in location will be at the overnight dorm.

Check Out: Parents are invited to attend final scrimmages that begin with warm-ups at 9:00am. The last meal is breakfast. Check-out will occur back at the dorms between 11:00 – 12:00pm. Commuters can exit camp from the field – please make sure you check out with a staff person first.
