What is the one or more things that you take with you or do every day before you greet the team at practice? This can be something tangible or non-tangible.

I always get some touches on the ball before practice, juggling, shooting, passing, to get myself in the right mindset to play or coach.

Do you have a quote, phrase or motto that you use on a daily basis or during tough times? or maybe something you think of often or live your life by.

Control what you can control. As a player or coach you can’t control how a field is, the refs or anything else. You can control your effort you give, so make sure that is right.

What advice would you give a smart, driven 14 year old athlete about to enter high school and what advice should they ignore on the other hand?

Focus on you. Don’t compare yourself to others and work on bettering yourself each day. Don’t forget to enjoy playing. Nothing has stopped more players than losing the love for the game.

In the last 5 years, do you have a specific season, game or competition that changed your life? What advice or realizations, do you have for people in the coaching field who are trying to achieve their team's potential?

Getting injured my junior year of college forced me to become a much more intelligent player rather than relying on athleticism. This has helped me as a coach in understanding positions other than what I played.

Is there a moment from your youth that set you up for career in coaching?

Coaching young kids while in high school.
